Ati has almost always had them beat at that except now. If you've heard the hype or read the reviews about this card, know this they are all true. I went from a 4850 512mb crossfire set up to this for BF3 and DAMN this card destroys them. Granted they (ATI 4850) are very long in the tooth they performed extremely poor in almost all the games I play. I have an I7-2600k@4.0 and 8gb of 1600mhz DDR3 memory as well as a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3-iSSD motherboard. I have always bought Asus branded components in the past but Gigabyte has definitely stolen me away from Asus with the performance of their products. I wish I would have known to wait for the OC model but it wasn't announced at the time of my purchase. |
